Yunomi tea cup

The PIKKELY Műhely Yunomi style chawans are made from high quality raw materials, solid fired porcelain with a glazed surface of our own recipe.
Our thicker, straight-walled cups are inspired by the shape of the Japanese Yunomi type chawan cups.
If you are a solo jpanese tea enthusiast, and don't want it to go cold quickly, we recommend this type of cup. Unlike the Kumi dashi type, it retains heat longer because of it's closed hsape.
They are made from snow-white Limoges porcelain, moulded and disc-shaped, using a layer-sensitive glaze developed exclusively for this material and temperature.
